The Port Warwick Conservancy is the
association of property owners for Port Warwick an award-winning, mixed-use
community located off of Jefferson Avenue in the
center of Newport News,
Virginia. Port Warwick is a diverse
community consisting of residences, specialty shops, restaurants, general
business and medical buildings. The centerpiece of Port Warwick is Styron Square, a three
acre green space designed after the great squares of London. It was named after the Newport News native
and Pulitzer prize-winning author, William Styron. In addition to Styron Square there are
five other squares in the residential area and public art displayed in

The purposes of the Port Warwick Conservancy
as defined in The Articles of Incorporation are to:
1.
Provide for the upkeep of the common
area and lots as provided in the Association Documents
2.
Establish and administer the
architectural, landscaping and upkeep standards governing the property.
3.
Promote and provide for the health,
safety, convenience, comfort and the general welfare of the Owners of the
Lots and the occupants of the property
4.
.Impose, collect and disburse dues,
charges and assessments in accordance with the provisions of the Declaration
or the Bylaws.
5.
Exercise all other powers and perform
all duties and obligations of the Association as set forth in the
Association Documents.
6.
Exercise the powers now or hereafter
conferred by law on Virginia
non-stock corporations as may be necessary or desirable to accomplish the
purposes set forth above.
